Starkweather is a metalcore band from Philadelphia, United States that formed in 1989. Starkweather pioneered the hardcore/heavy metal crossover sound that would later be known as "metalcore". They have influenced many of today's best hardcore/metal bands (such as Converge).Into the Wire was out in 95' through Edison Recordings.
